The Art of Applying Hair Conditioner

posted in: Beauty, Hair Care | 0

Did you know depending on the texture and length of your hair you should only be using certain types of conditioners and applying it in a certain way?   Follow the tips below for healthier manageable hair.

Oily Hair
If your hair tends to be on the oilier side meaning it doesn’t feel dry or frizzy to the touch you should try using a volumizing shampoo and conditioner.  If you have short hair only apply the conditioner to the end of your hair.  For long hair gals apply conditioner from mid-shaft to the ends.  Applying the conditioner in this manner will not weigh your hair down and will not make your roots even oilier.  Your hair will be smooth and full of life.

Dry Frizzy Hair

If you tend to have frizzy dry hair, using a moisturizing shampoo and a rich hydrating conditioner will nourish and repair your hair.  It will take time, but stick to it and before you know it you will have healthy shiny and manageable  hair once again.  Remember if you have shorter hair, only apply condition to the ends of the hair.  For medium to long hair, apply the conditioner from the mid-shaft to the ends.
